IRRI’s annual reports have constantly evolved over the years. Since 2012, the report has been streamlined with the printed version presented in a brochure format that summarizes research highlights, milestones, and financial information.
In his year-end report, IRRI Director General Matthew Morell described 2016 as a time of change and transition for the institute. The 2016 Annual Report focuses on events and activities that highlight the innovative approaches taken by the institute to reduce poverty and hunger, improve the health of rice farmers and consumers, and ensure environmental sustainability of rice farming. The innovations include new technologies, facilities, partnership strategies, and organizational structures. Download pdf of print version
